- I was born and raised in Texas, but I moved to S. Calif. 2 1/2 years ago. It's beautiful here, but I do miss the Mexican food. This is my third newspaper since graduating from a small school in west Texas. I am currently help manage a universal desk of 17 people. I spend my free time taking photos, knitting, traveling and enjoying the California sun.
