OK. I admit that headline is fairly non-editorial-sounding . . . but know this. I get no spiffs, commissions or kickbacks for sharing this information. I am just hoping for good karma in return, people. I was just at B and H speccing up a Sony A1U video kit for a cl… Continue

Visual Editors social network celebrates fourth year as a journalism classroom

The theme music for a new sound in journalism education started playing four years ago when a few close colleagues joined me in starting a new venture - to build Visual Editors. The group started small and grew by word of mouth. It takes several years for an online community to mature and only then will you know if it has long-term potential. I think we know now that we are here to stay. Because of you - Visual Editors is still a daily destination for jour… Continue

The 6 June is The Swedish National Day. So it's a "red" day in the calender, and not many are working this day (except the designers and subeditors who are making the saturday paper).

However there is a train going from Göteborg to Växjö (about 2,5 hours) and a train from Växjö to Stockholm (about 3,5 hours).

Still working for a meeting in Växjö in June. Seems pretty good so far.

hey! We are actually in the process of figuring that out. Our launch date is set for later this year. Right now we are just waiting to see what we can spend before we get excited about certain ones. Even though we made a good case for the purchase, there is still the possibility they could say, "Nahh, you guys are doing just fine without new fonts." Currently we use Century Old Style bold/regular for ALL headlines, meaning we do not use sans serif type larger than 14 point... and we use swiss for that. Delete Comment

Thanks a lot for the help on the facebook application. I've got the widget up and running but I can't get it to display in people's profiles like Charles Apple does. Mine only displays on a canvas page. Did you have that problem to and do you know how to replace the widgetbox logo with the actual widget on the profile page?

Thanks a lot
