What best describes your role in journalism?: Reporter, Student, Designer, News artist

What organization are you with?: Columbia Missourian/VOX magazine

Location: Columbia, MO

Biography: I am currently attending the University of Missouri-Columbia. I graduate from their school of journalism in May of 2009. I just finished designing for the Columbia Missourian. I worked on 1A, features and cover stories for the paper and will move on to designing VOX magazine in my last semester. I learned much of what I know at SND Vegas in 2008.

My biggest passion is the outdoors. My biggest collection is old vinyl LPs. I feel like I was born in the wrong generation. Love my family and helping people. I would like to design for a nonprofit association magazine or design ads for a company like Greenpeace, WWF or Oxfam America.
